Fundraising Sale
We were honoured to have Shianne Gould, a Mi’kmaq artist from Whycocomagh, CB paint Turtle Island and the 7 Grandfather Teachings. The original was auctioned in February.
To support JA Nova Scotia please consider purchasing a print. 100 prints were produced. Size is12x12. Can be shipped or picked-up from the JA Nova Scotia Offices. A portion of the profits will be shared with Shianne to help with her build her own studio in Whycocomagh.
Print can be framed in an IKEA Frame (Sannahed (19 3/4″ x 19 3/4″, $36.99).
Each year we hope to showcase a Nova Scotia artist, allow them to paint for our guests and auction that painting during the Gala.

About Us
JA Nova Scotia (JANS) believes in the boundless potential of young people. Every day, JANS programs impact youth in our province with our focus on financial health, workplace readiness and entrepreneurship. Our programs are offered during the school day, after school and through our digital campus. They are presented by teachers, volunteers and are available for self-directed learning to students from across Nova Scotia with programs being offered in both English and French. Everything we do contributes to delivering on our mission – to inspire and prepare youth to succeed in the global economy.
As a not-for-profit JANS holds fundraising events throughout the year with our signature event being the Nova Business Hall of Fame. This is our opportunity to showcase and celebrate outstanding contributions to peers and youth alike. Established by JA Nova Scotia in 1993, the Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame celebrates the lifetime achievements of Nova Scotia’s by inducting an annual co-hort who have shown their unmatched significance; their contributions to the economic development and growth of Nova Scotia.
